Rugged, tough and ... well, "sticky" are the adjectives that pop into my head as I watch the sizzling new music video for "Desire" from London-based, indie singer-songwriter Bryde (aka Sarah Howells). The track is the first new material from Bryde since the release of her single "Less" earlier this Spring.
"Desire" is one of Bryde's strongest tracks to date, with Sarah's talented songwriting and stellar vocals boldly beaming through - a track that is lyrically demanding and unapologetic, with subtly sweet vocal undertones. Bryde's sound has been steadily evolving from the prominently sparse, brooding guitar and vocals to a tight, polished, full-band presence with the volume turned up.
