Looking to put an extra kick in your morning step? If so, then look no further than the new single, "A Morning Song", from Los Angeles-based, indie-folk rock band, Miner, to pick you up and carry you out into your day. This song's got it all - toe tapping, foot stomping, clapping, infectious melody and great harmonies. The sound is fresh, full, warm and so alive. This is one of those genius songs that, after you've heard it just once or twice, you'll be singing along with its catchy chorus: "Here comes love knocking at your door | Singing out a mornin' song | Hey, hey, hey, what you waitin' for? | All of my heart is yours."
The band was formed by husband and wife Justin and Kate Miner, along with Jeremy Miner (Justin's brother), and Tobias Urbanczyk. With two albums already released, Into the Morning (2014) and Tuanaki (2015), "A Morning Song" is the first taste of new music from the band's forthcoming Headwaters EP, which is set for an August release. The band recently started a PledgeMusic campaign for the new EP, that offers early access, unreleased material, and other perks and swag.
