Chicago-based indie folk rock band Minor Moon releases their new EP "What Our Enemies Know" containing five brand new tracks from this up-and-coming, talented band. Minor Moon is the songwriting project of musician Sam Cantor, and featuring Nathan Bojko (drums), Michael Downing (bass) and Colin Drozdoff (keyboards).
Since their last full-length release, A Whisper, A Shout (2015), Minor Moon has released two advance singles from this EP - the upbeat "So Composed" and bluesy, laid-back "Weird How We Float", both of which appear as the opening tracks on the new EP. In just a few years since releasing their debut Faultlines EP (2014), this band has consistently progressed toward creating a tight, mature and cohesive sound. "What Our Enemies Know" is an EP that is best listened to from start to finish - absorbing the tracks in the order in which they are presented. I only wish there were five more that followed, to prolong the captivating and refreshing atmosphere that develops from these five engaging and well-written songs.
The band is currently hitting the road for a few tour dates in the South/Southeast US - be sure to check them out if they're playing at a town near you.
